![]() ![]() I've read a few write ups on this kit, and what was written, doesn't match what you get in the kit. The lack of photo-etch screens is a bit of a downer, but, those are easy to source and Tamiya does sell a set of them. I view the kits as sort of a generic, clean slate, kind of model - you can make whatever (usually minor) tweaks here and there to model whatever tank it is you are going for. Since all of the Tigers use shared parts, combining pieces from the kits to make other versions or vehicles is made a lot easier. They are simple, but relatively sound overall, and what they lack in fine detail, they make up for in fit/ease of assembly, low cost and general availability. I happen to like the 1990s Tamiya Tiger kits.
